CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Mabuchi Mwafulirwa is a holder of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and a Diploma in Management studies, both obtained from Exploits University, and a Diploma in Sales and Marketing (ABE-UK). He is a Malawian professional in Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Monitoring and Evaluation with comprehensive and diverse experience in Transport and logistics, and procurement management. He has worked with the Foundation for Irrigation and Sustainable Development (FISD) as an Agribusiness specialist. He has also worked with Remark Logistics as a Business Development Executive, worked with Market Insights Tracking as Central Region Supervisor for Research Activities and as a research assistant, worked with Ned Bank Malawi Limited as Direct Sales Agent, and Rab Processors Malawi as a Sales Merchandiser.
AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH SPECIALIST
Mr. Divine Jere is a Malawian Agriculture Economist and Researcher. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Economics obtained from Bunda College of Agriculture (then under University of Malawi, but now under Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources). He has worked with Mzuzu University as an Associate lecturer in Economics, and project management respectively. He has also worked as a Research Assistant for a number of research based Consultancies where he developed his research skills. He has also worked with the Farmers Union of Malawi (FUM) as an assistant Agribusiness Officer responsible for the Development and Management of the Strategic Plan for the Cotton Farmers Association of Malawi (COFAM) and their member farmers, and conducting an evaluation study on the effectiveness of the Cotton Farmers Association of Malawi. During the course of his career, he also attended a training by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Agribusiness Supply Chain Development.
Account and Financial Manager
Christopher Mwafulirwa is an Account and finance manager for Area Q Traders. He holds a certificate in financial Accounting from Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM). He is engaged with Area Q Traders in Accounting, quality control and assurance program, Advisory role, sourcing agricultural products, customer relations and many other team work tasks. Apart from Accounting, Christopher holds a diploma in biomedical sciences and also pursuing a degree in the same at Mzuzu University. He has previously worked as a Medical Laboratory Research Technician under the University of North Carolina (UNC) project. The company is proud to have such a multi-tasking individual who does not only work as an accountant, but also works as QA/QC specialist on agricultural products and Quality surveillance monitor.
